05 places // Cochin to Mumbai

About

Growing up in the south of India, I was lucky enough to travel across regions and see a lot of the country early. Outside of school you would usually find me on a PlayStation or on a field playing football.

  1. 01

    Cochin

I spent most of my childhood in the port city, known for its beaches and its Jewish quarter, and for a pace of life that has not changed much.

  2. 02

    New Delhi

The capital is my hometown. I finished high school here, and got my first job here.

  3. 03

    Manipal

I read Chemical Engineering and graduated in 2021. I got in and out of a string of hobbies, and went home in my junior year when the university shut for COVID-19.

  4. 04

    Pittsburgh

I moved to the United States in August 2022 for a master's at Carnegie Mellon, and finished in December 2023. Most of my time went into coursework, campus errands and flying a drone, which is where the aerial photography started.

  5. 05

    Mumbai

Since 2024 Mumbai has been home: fast, kind, and ambitious in a way nowhere else is. Bandra is the base, part chaos and part charm, with Marine Drive for the views.
